Law Costs Draftsmen

We specialise in the preparation of all types of Bills of Costs, working primarily for solicitors. We offer the complete service, which goes beyond simply drafting bills, and we pride ourselves on retaining clients by providing a fast efficient service, which maximises the recovery of costs.

Like all Law Costs Draftsmen (also known as 'Law Costs Consultants'), we ensure that a client is properly charged for work undertaken on the client's behalf. We also help apportion costs between the two sets of legal advisers at the end of long and complex cases. In some instances, we represent clients in court when there is an issue over costs.

Our company is departmentalised to ensure that a high quality of work is maintained, although the preparation of work is completed within the shortest period of time possible, and obviously within the time limits imposed by the Rules of the Court and the Legal Services Commission.

We endeavour to cost files within a two week period with priority being given to urgent matters (e.g. those near to time limits, etc.). We supervise all our projects closely through our fully experienced management team, offering added value and unrivalled quality in the specialised areas of costs drafting, assessment and negotiation.
